For a long time I've been threatening to do a social experiment and never actually got around to doing one - until now. "A Horrific Experiment" is a social experiment and collaboration that I did with Karine from Bump in the Night blog, Ophelia from Do It Yourself by Ophelia, Kieron from Road To Pro Tog and Jenna from The World of Tattooing. Karine and Jenna applied makeup to Ophelia to make her into a female Frankenstein while Kieron filmed the entire experiment. After Ophelia looked scary enough, we walked around the campus talking to random people and captured their reaction to Ophelia. 

 

I would love to say that I only decided to conduct this experiment to prove that society reacts negatively to something they deem as strange or weird but I'd be lying. I also did it for the fun of it. It was exhilirating to watch people freak out over a girl covered in makeup and I loved every minute of it. Anyways, enough of the chit chat.
